After jumping off a speaker during a show in Kansas City, Chris Cagle fragmented the top of his tibia (a leg bone between
the knee and the ankle) and tore his meniscus (the cartilage in his knee) while singing "Country by the Grace of God." Cagle
told CMT News, "They told me they might have to send a physical therapist to travel with us, and I said, 'Make sure it's a
guy because I have 12 guys who travel with me and it gets pretty interesting.'" Cagle cancelled several upcoming shows due
to his injury, and surgery is not expected. 02/19/03
