Blake Shelton will assume the second position on Toby Keith's 2003 tour, Keith announced Thursday (May 1). Shelton, who recently
scored a multi-week No. 1 with "The Baby," will be assuming the concert slot vacated by Rascal Flatts, who are now part of
Brooks & Dunn's Neon Circus & Wild West Show tour. Keith, an Oklahoma native, will wait until May 12 to announce additional
plans for his tour. "We always try to fill the middle slot on my tour with an act that's on fire, like Rascal Flatts was on
the Unleashed tour," Keith says. "That is why we chose Blake for this year and it doesn't hurt that he is also from Oklahoma."
