Mark Wright has been named executive vice president of A & R at Sony Music Nashville. Wright most recently served as executive
vice president of A&R at MCA and Mercury Nashville, where he produced albums for Gary Allan, Lee Ann Womack and Trisha Yearwood.
He will report to John Grady, president of Sony Music Nashville. The former top three executives at the country label were
let go in May, following an international restructuring of Sony Music. Artists on the Sony roster include the Dixie Chicks,
Travis Tritt, Buddy Jewell and Patty Loveless. 05/29/03
