Tim McGraw will make his acting debut as a sheriff in Black Cloud, an independent film about a Native American boxer
trying to make the U.S. Olympic team. The screenplay was written by actor Rick Schroder, who most recently starred in the
ABC-TV drama NYPD Blue. Schroder will also direct. Shooting begins this week on location in Arizona, and the film will
possibly debut at next year's Sundance Film Festival. McGraw will also contribute songs to the movie's soundtrack. 06/04/03
