The morning after his Saturday (June 7) stadium show in Knoxville, Tenn., Kenny Chesney ate breakfast with his family, then
caught a flight to the Caribbean. In a bar in the British Virgin Islands, Chesney and Kid Rock took over the stage and jammed
for two hours. "There was a guy there, playing covers -- and he had two guitars with him," Chesney says. "I looked at Bob
(Kid Rock) and said, 'Want to?' and he was like, 'Yeah, man.' ... So there you go. There were probably 20 locals and maybe
20 or 25 tourists, and it was a whole different deal, obviously, but it just reminds you how much fun music is no matter where
you do it." Chesney plays Albuquerque, N.M., on Thursday night (June 12). 06/11/03
