A judge will allow a domestic assault against Bill Anderson to be dismissed next year if no additional complaints are filed
against the Grand Ole Opry star. Anderson, 65, was charged with a criminal charge of aggravated assault in March following
a domestic disturbance at his Nashville-area home. Former girlfriend Deborah Marlin, 41, requested a warrant accusing Anderson
of shoving her and trying to run over her with his vehicle. In a ruling issued Wednesday (June 25) in Lebanon, Tenn., Wilson
County Judge Barry Tatum ruled the charge will be dismissed on June 23, 2004, if Anderson stays out of trouble. Anderson was
inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2001. 06/26/03
