Melissa Fritz of Bremen, Ind., won the CMT Ultimate Country Home sweepstakes, unlocking the door to the star-decorated
house in Fairview, Tenn. She was revealed as the winner on the final episode of the series, which aired Sunday (June 29) on
CMT. One of 12 finalists, Fritz said she did not expect to win. "I just expected a vacation. I haven't been anywhere in 10
years. I can't believe this." She added, "We lost our home to foreclosure last year and had to move, and we've been renting.
So this is unbelievable." 06/30/03
