If plans hadn't changed recently, Tanya Tucker's wedding would have been today. Due to being pregnant, however, the singer postponed the ceremony with the soon-to-be father and husband Jerry Laseter, according to Star magazine. The baby is due in early July, while the wedding is now in the works for the fall. Tucker and the 37-year-old songwriter had planned to say their "I-do's" on January 29th, which happens to be Tucker's parents' 56th wedding anniversary. The 40-year-old singer is having a chapel built on her Middle Tennessee property, which will accommodate approximately 50 relatives. The Two Sparrows Chapel is being built, in part, by tunesmith/carpenter Mark Alan Springer, who penned Tucker's "Two Sparrows In A Hurricane" hit. "If this doesn't work, then I wasn't meant for anybody," Tucker earlier commented.
