At a local restaurant in Nashville, 15-year-old newcomer Jessica Andrews, who's currently known for her "I Will Be There For You" song, recently dined with the legendary Brenda Lee. Lee, of course, was extremely young when she launched her own singing career. "It was a special time," says Andrews. "Brenda shared some stories from her early days and gave me some great advice. It means a lot to hear from someone who has done it before. She was truly inspiring." The two shared stories about home schooling, clothes, performing, protecting your voice and looking for songs. "Most importantly," concludes Andrews, "she told me to have fun and not let the business change me." Andrews' debut album Heart Shaped World will be released March 23rd. Lee, a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, has sold over 100 million records worldwide with such hits as "I'm Sorry" and "Sweet Nothin's."
