CMT unveiled plans Tuesday (May 1) to increase country music-based original long-form series and specials on the network.
CMT viewers will be offered a wider variety of country music programming in the coming months. Slated to debut are CMT
Most Wanted Live, a daily interactive show telecast live from the new Country Music Hall of Fame. In addition, country's
biggest events will be covered with a full week of dedicated special programming -- the Academy of Country Music Awards, Fan
Fair and the Country Music Association Awards. There also will be specials, including a viewer-voted Top 100 videos show.
