Lonestar frontman Richie McDonald and his wife, Lorie, welcomed a new daughter, Maisie Elizabeth McDonald, Wednesday (April 11) in Nashville. She weighed 6 pounds at birth and was 19½ inches long. "Lorie and Maisie are doing great," McDonald said in a statement. "Maisie is a beautiful baby. I couldn't be happier." The couple has two other children. Lonestar is part of the George Strait Country Music Festival tour, which is taking this holiday weekend off. McDonald will rejoin his bandmates next Saturday (April 21) at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, S.C., to continue the remainder of the Strait tour. Lonestar releases its next album, I'm Already There, on June 26.
