Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and the Dixie Chicks were winners in country categories at the seventh annual Blockbuster Entertainment Awards held Tuesday (April 10) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. McGraw was named favorite country male artist; Hill was favorite country female artist and the Chicks took favorite country duo or group. LeAnn Rimes' "Can't Fight the Moonlight," from Coyote Ugly, won favorite song from a movie. Rimes performed the song at the awards show, which aired Wednesday (April 11) on Fox. Winners were chosen by fans who voted in Blockbuster stores or online. "It's especially gratifying to win this award because it's voted on by the fans," McGraw said in a statement. "I'm sorry that I wasn't able to be there firsthand to accept this token of your appreciation, but rest assured that I'm hard at work 'somewhere in Europe' filming a new video."
