Nope, it's not George Strait's 50th birthday, but he is celebrating selling more than 50 million albums over his 18-year career.
With the shipment of his forthcoming disc Always Never The Same, slated for a March 2nd release, the entertainer will
have topped the grand 50 mark. At a recent dinner attended by several top record retailers, Strait was honored for his accomplishment.
There are still tickets available for Strait's first 1999 show on March 6th in Phoenix, Arizona.
