Recording artist Buddy Knox passed away on Sunday, February 14, in Bremerton, Washington, after suffering a battle with cancer.
Knox launched a string of hits primarily in the 1950s with his group The Rhythm Orchids. Their "Party Doll" was a million-seller
in 1956 and is still considered a rockabilly and rock 'n roll classic. Interestingly, a cardboard box was substituted for
drums on the session.
