It was exactly 35 years ago today (March 3, 1963) that the legendary Patsy Cline made her final performance. Cline was suffering
the flu while performing a benefit for a disc jockey who had lost his life in a car accident in Kansas City, Missouri. The
last song she sang was Moon Mullican's "I'll Sail My Ship Alone." Patsy, her manager Randy Hughes, Cowboy Copas and Hawkshaw
Hawkins lost their lives in a plane crash en route back to Nashville.
