Johnny Cash's video "Hurt" earned six nominations for the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards. "Hurt" will compete for best video,
male video, direction, art direction, editing, and cinematography. Only Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott and Justin Timberlake
scored more nominations. The ceremony will be held Aug. 28 in New York City. In related news, Cash's appearances on television
and in music videos will be featured in a career retrospective scheduled for Oct. 3-Jan. 25 at the Museum of Television and
