Coinciding with the opening of the new Country Music Hall of Fame in May will be the release of an illustrated history of
Hatch Show Print, the famed Nashville show business poster company that now operates as a division of the Hall of Fame's parent
organization, the Country Music Foundation. Titled Hatch Show Print: The History of a Great American Poster Shop, the
volume is written and compiled by Paul Kingsbury, Jim Sherraden and Elek Horvath. It is being published by Chronicle Books.
Chronicle will also release at the same time a box of Hatch Show Print post cards and two diary books illustrated with Hatch
art. The Country Music Foundation Press, in league with Vanderbilt University Press, has scheduled two books for publication
next year: Heartaches by the Number: A Critical Guide to Country Music's 500 Greatest Singles by Bill Friskics-Warren
and David Cantwell, and an as-yet-untitled history of singing cowboys by Doug Green, "Ranger Doug" of Riders In The Sky.
