Eventhough the Grammy Awards have passed, and artists like Vince Gill, Shania Twain, Ricky Skaggs and the Dixie Chicks are still basking in the glory; plus the ACM Awards are right around the corner, other mentionable honors never stop coming in either. Tim McGraw's Everywhere album was recently named 1999's best album by R&R's Country Radio Readers Poll. The disc, which was released in June 1997, also took honors for the same award last year. The back-to-back wins mark a first. Due to their extraordinary winning streak during the recent Grammy Awards, both the Dixie Chicks and Shania Twain hit the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 this week. Twain leads the entire pack with three Blockbuster Entertainment Awards nominations, while the Chicks garnered one. The awards show is slated for telecast on the Fox network in June. Reportedly, Twain is just as sizzling in Latin America, where her phenomenal country/pop hit "You're Still the One" was recently named CMT Latin America's top video of 1998. Alan Jackson's "I'll Go On Loving You" was named CMT Pacific Rim's No. 1 Video of the Year.
