Perhaps best known for his guitar and vocal talent with bluegrass band Hot Rise, founding member of the popular band Charles
Sawtelle passed away recently in Duarte, California. Sawtelle died due to complications relating to a bone marrow transplant
he encountered during his battle against leukemia. Hot Rise officially disbanded in 1990. The group had reunited occasionally
for special musical performances.
