Naomi Judd was involved in a strange incident recently at a restaurant just outside Nashville. According to a report by the Brentwood, Tenn., Police Department, Judd was headed to the ladies room at Amerigo's when she saw a male stripper straddling a teenage girl. The stripper, Christopher Pearce, had been hired by Emily Westermeier's parents to entertain at her 18th birthday party. Judd told police she was appalled by the display in a family restaurant, so she tapped him on the shoulder and asked him to stop. The dancer lost his balance and fell onto the floor. Pearce told police that Judd grabbed him by the neck and pulled him to the floor, but no charges have been filed. The police report said Judd was at the restaurant with her estranged husband, Larry Strickland. Judd's publicist would not comment on whether the two have reconciled.
