George Jones' wrecked Lexus has a new owner. Marvin Sandrell, a used-car dealer from Maury County in Tennessee, purchased
the totaled vehicle for $15,800 on Internet auction site eBay, reports The Tennessean. Dr. Raymond Turek of Murfreesboro,
Tenn., paid $22,000 for the inoperable Lexus in June 1999, three months after Jones had a near-fatal crash near Franklin,
Tenn. Sandrell plans to use the battered vehicle to promote his business and is talking to a car museum in East Tennessee
and a casino in Tunica, Miss.
