In recognition of its 25th anniversary, the Toronto-based Canadian Country Music Association is compiling a two-CD set titled
Bound for Movin' On. The project will feature nearly 40 top Canadian country songs and is being promoted as the "definitive
collection of Canadian country music." A companion TV special and book are slated for the fall. The CCMA will hold its annual
"Country Music Week" Sept. 7-10 in Calgary, which has been designated the event's new permanent home. The week's activities
include the Canadian Country Music Awards, industry convocations and artist showcases.
