If Waylon Jennings could have shown up at the recent Johnny Cash Tribute Concert in New York, it could have resulted in what
was described as a phenomenal Highwaymen reunion performance. Because of his poor health, however, Jennings wasn't able to
attend and join Cash, Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson. According to the New York Daily News, June Carter Cash
reported that her husband had asked Jennings to appear for such a performance.
