Country comic and Grand Ole Opry member Jerry Clower--known for the development of such characters as Marcel Ledbetter--was
forced to cancel his first show in 32 years last week when the beloved performer was hospitalized in Georgia for exhaustion
and examination. Clower is to undergo more tests and then recuperate at his home in Liberty, Mississippi.
