"Videos are just another way," he told country.com "The only way to have people hear your music is radio, without video. So it's just another venue to get your record out there. A lot of people watch and listen to CMT all the time. We do, we have it on all the time at our house. We have it on all day long. So it's very important. I don't think you have to do as many of them as you had to do earlier in the career. You just have to distinguish yourself. I sure don't like doing them. That's probably the toughest part of my whole job is dong videos. It would be fine if I could just get somebody to play me," he laughs.
