Urban Earns Australian Nominations
Keith Urban, who recently hit No. 4 on the Billboard country singles chart with "Your Everything," is up for five trophies at the Country Music Awards of Australia. A native Aussie, Urban received nominations for Song of the Year for "I Wanna Be Your Man (Forever)"; Album of the Year for keith urban; Male Vocalist for his performance on the track "Your Everything"; Instrumental of the Year for "Rollercoaster"; and Video Clip of the Year for "But for the Grace of God." Warner Bros. newcomer Kasey Chambers received a nod for Vocal Collaboration with veteran performer Slim Dusty on "Matilda No More." The awards will be handed out on Jan. 27 in Tamworth, Australia. Here in the U.S., Urban is up for Best New Country Artist at the American Music Awards, airing live Jan. 8 on ABC.
