Acoustic music label Doobie Shea has signed bluegrass artists Dale Ann Bradley & Coon Creek. The band is recording its debut
release for the label this month for tentative release next spring. Bradley previously released two solo albums on Pinecastle
Records. Also for Doobie Shea, Lonesome River Band fiddler Rickie Simpkins is recording a solo album with guest artists Dan
Tyminski, Tony and Wyatt Rice and his brother, Ronnie Simpkins. Songwriter Craig Market, who has written songs for bluegrass
artists Ronnie Bowman and the Lonesome River Band, also is working on a solo album for the label. Doobie Shea Records is based
in Boones Mill, Va.
