The legal tensions between LeAnn Rimes and her father continue. Wilbur Rimes has filed a countersuit against his daughter's management company, LeAnn Rimes Entertainment Inc., reports The Dallas Morning News. The suit comes as a response to a suit filed by the singer against her father in May, which claimed that Wilbur Rimes and co-manager Lyle Walker siphoned more than $7 million in earnings from the singer and her company over the course of five years. Wilbur Rimes has denied those allegations. In his countersuit, he says that he is owed a 3 percent producer's fee for the five recordings he produced for LeAnn on Curb Records. Less than two weeks ago, LeAnn Rimes sought legal action against Curb Records, petitioning to end the recording contract that was signed on her behalf in 1995, when she was 12 years old. Now 18, the artist would like to negotiate her own terms.
