Believe it or not, before the final cuts were chosen for Alan Jackson's brand new High Milage album, he had recorded REO Speedwagon's hit, "Time For Me To Fly." The singer explained that he had recorded close to 20 songs for the album, but the Speedwagon tune didn't make the final cut. "We did cut it and it came off pretty neat. Actually, it sounded like one of my records when we got done. Jackson's High Milage disc is now available. It also marks Arista/Nashville, Jackson's record company, first enhanced CD. The high-tech disc offers fans great music along with video and soundclips from the entertainer's previous releases; photos of the Georgia native; biological facts and Web links to his www.ajackson.com site. Additionally, Arista/Nashville's inaugural ECD has never-before-seen concert footage of Jackson's now-famous Center Hill Lake show and an exclusive live videoclip of the hit, "Home."
