Would you pay $22,000 for a badly mangled 1999 Lexus LX470 that may never run again? How about if it is the notorious sport-utility vehicle which George Jones wrecked in the March 6th crash that almost cost the country legend his life? Fann's Auto Salvage is betting someone will fork over the cash for such a souvenir. The salvage company, located in Manchester, Tennessee, bought Jones' Lexus during an insurance auto auction. Jones' wife, Nancy, joked about buying the damaged vehicle and keeping it around "as a reminder." Incidentally, Jones' recovery seems to be going well. He performed last weekend for the first time since the accident at a concert in Andalusia, Alabama.
