Steve Earle makes a guest appearance on the two-CD set, Seeds: The Songs of Pete Seeger, Volume 3, the final release
of a series celebrating the folk icon's music and its global effect. The first disc of the new collection includes 14 performances
featuring Seeger with several notable musicians, including Arlo Guthrie, Anne Hills and Tom Pacheco. The second disc features
Seeger's songs performed by other artists, including Janis Ian, Tom Paxton, Natalie Merchant and Holly Near. Earle joins fellow
activists Billy Bragg, Ani DiFranco on "Bring Them Home (If You Love Your Uncle Sam)," an updated version of Seeger's anti-Vietnam
song that now addresses the U.S. invasion of Iraq. Seeds: The Songs of Pete Seeger, Volume 3 is set for Sept. 23 release.
