Veteran singer Pat Boone is spearheading a new record company venture that could result in a recording home for fellow veteran
artists. Boone recently merged his record company, The Gold Label, with Honest Entertainment in Nashville. The diverse roster
will now include such artists as Charley Pride, Glen Campbell, and pop and R & B artists. "We're positioning our label to
bring the viable, living artists back into the studio to do new records. And we'll release collections of their hits," explains
Boone. "There's the Senior Tour in tennis and golf. Now The Gold Label is sort of a recording-oriented 'Senior Tour' for veteran
recording artists."
