Garth Brooks has filed for divorce from his wife, Sandy, citing irreconcilable differences, The Tennessean reports. His lawyer filed the papers Monday (Nov. 6) in Davidson County Circuit Court in Nashville. The documents listed the separation date as March 1999. Sandy, Brooks' wife of 14 years, has been living in Oklahoma, the couple's home state, since July. Ed Silva, Sandy's lawyer, said both parties are working out a custody arrangement for the couple's three children, as well as an agreement splitting their assets. Brooks' lawyer, Marlene Eskind Moses, had no comment, nor did Brooks' publicist, Karen Byrd.
