Fan Fair Ticket Prices Announced
Tickets for Fan Fair 2001 will be offered in three categories, the Country Music Association announced Monday (Nov. 6). Pricing will be determined by seating arrangement in Adelphia Coliseum, where the record label concerts will be held. The entire event is moving to downtown Nashville from its longtime home at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds. A four-day pass in the "platinum" section will cost $115. "Gold" level seating will cost $100, and "sterling" seating will sell for $90. All passes include admission to official Fan Fair performances, exhibits and autograph sessions. For the first time, the CMA also is offering a discounted price for attendees 18 and younger. Parking passes for the Adelphia Coliseum lot will cost $20 for cars, $60 for buses and $120 for recreational vehicles. Ticket sales will open first to fans who pre-registered this year or who have asked for information online from the official Fan Fair website. The CMA will contact eligible fans in early December to offer first dibs at the good seats. In past years, 24,000 tickets were made available, but capacity could go as high as 50,000 with the move to a new venue.
