Nashville radio station, WSM-AM 650, the home of the Grand Ole Opry, has returned its legendary overnight program to the on-air
lineup. Opry Star Spotlight is a live nightly broadcast originating from WSM's studio inside the Opryland Hotel. The
show features in-studio guests, artist information, news about the Opry and country music from past to present -- the same
format developed by the station nearly 50 years ago and made popular in the 1960s by veteran personality Ralph Emery. Matthew
Gillian, a member of the announcing staff since 1998, is hosting the newly-revived Spotlight. WSM's nighttime skywave
signal covers 38 states as well as parts of Canada and Mexico
