Bluegrass artist Mark Newton, formerly of the Virginia Squires, is releasing a duets album with some of the most well-known
women in bluegrass. Titled Follow Me Back to the Fold, the project is slated for a May 2 release on Rebel Records.
The title track was penned by Tom T. and Dixie Hall and is a tribute to Mother Maybelle Carter and the Carter tradition. Artists
participating in the project include Lynn Morris, Claire Lynch, Rhonda Vincent, Laurie Lewis, Dale Ann Bradley and Gloria
Belle, among others.
