Alan Jackson and Brooks & Dunn are among artists from the Arista Records roster joining forces to celebrate the label's 25th anniversary on an NBC-TV special, Billboard reports. Jackson was the first signing to Arista's country division in 1989. Brooks & Dunn are former CMA and ACM entertainers of the year. The special, titled 25 Years of #1 Hits: Arista Records' Anniversary Celebration, will be taped April 10 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Produced by dick clark productions, the show will air May 15. Jackson and Brooks & Dunn will join other Arista acts including Whitney Houston, Santana, Kenny G, Barry Manilow and Patti Smith. Arista chief Clive Davis may not stay at the company beyond the end of his current contract in June. Arista Nashville head Tim DuBois has confirmed that he will move to a new record company owned by Gaylord Entertainment in the coming months, prompting speculation about the future of Arista's Nashville division.
