We reported here yesterday that Jerry Lee Lewis was hospitalized in Memphis after he had an allergic reaction to a drug he
was given after cutting his finger. Lewis has reportedly been sent home from the medical center. Lewis, 64, was admitted into
Methodist Healthcare Central Hospital when the nerve-numbing agent lidocaine administered by his private physician caused
a bad reaction. The piano man was said to be playing with a knife he had been given for Christmas when he accidentally cut
his hand.
