Pet-friendly Heather Kinley of country duo the Kinleys will host the K-9 Classic Charity Golf Tournament Oct. 23 at the Hermitage
Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tenn., outside Nashville. Proceeds go to ACT Now (Animal Care Taskforce of Nashville, Inc.), which
has worked to improve conditions at the Metro Animal Control Facility in Nashville. Kinley has saved two dogs from the pound
by adopting them as pets. She organized the tournament with her fiancee, Mark Mendenhall. Sister Jennifer also will be on
hand for the festivities. The Kinleys will be CMT's November Showcase Artist. Heather and Mark will be married Dec.
