Reba Steps Out For The Evening
Country diva Reba McEntire was recently inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in Tulsa. The ceremony took place at the Performing Arts Center. The Oklahoma Hall of Fame celebrated its 70th induction ceremony, and through the years has seen a diversified mix of people -- from Johnny Bench and Ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick to Roy Clark and Gene Autry -- become a part of its history. Reba was born and raised in Southeastern Oklahoma and lived in the state until her move to Nashville in 1988. PLUS! It wasn't husband Narvel or another huge star that accompanied Ms. McEntire to the recent gala screening and party for the forthcoming animated feature film The Prince of Egypt; it was her son Shelby. Reportedly, the young Shelby was pretty impressed with the movie's parting of the Red Sea production. Shelby commented that he'd "like to walk through there." Other country celebrities who contributed to the coinciding inspired-by album and showed up for the event included Mindy McCready, Wynonna and Clint Black.
