Capitol recording artist Chris LeDoux was in an Omaha, Neb., hospital Friday (Oct. 6) consulting with specialists from the
University of Nebraska Medical Center about a possible liver transplant. The singer, who turned 52 on Oct. 2, has been diagnosed
with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), a disease that eventually causes liver failure. A press release said LeDoux is
staying at the Nebraska Health Center on an "outpatient" basis and is visiting nearby restaurants and movie theaters when
not meeting with doctors. LeDoux's manager, T.K. Kimbrell, said the singer has "indefinitely postponed" the rest of his tour,
which had dates booked through Dec. 8.
