The U.S. Postal Service is issuing a commemorative stamped postal card featuring Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium, the
previous home of the Grand Ole Opry. The official dedication, featuring Opry members Lorrie Morgan and Bill Anderson, plus
dignitaries from the Ryman and the Postal Service, will take place on Saturday (March 18) at the Ryman at 11:30 a.m. CT. The
customary entrance fee into the auditorium will be waived to encourage the public to participate in the dedication. The stamped
card features an oil painting by Mike Summers which now hangs in the Ryman Auditorium. It depicts how the building looked
around the turn of last century, when it housed the Union Gospel Tabernacle.
