CMT Shines Spotlight on CMA With Two Specials
TV personality Chuck Woolery will host CMT's Conversations, a one-hour special, airing on Oct. 4 at 6 p.m. ET, prior to the broadcast of The 34th Annual CMA Awards. The Barbara Walters-type interview show features three of the year's most notable CMA nominees, Kenny Rogers, Montgomery Gentry and Lee Ann Womack. They'll share compelling perspectives about their careers and CMA nominations with Woolery. Immediately following CMT's Conversations, CMT will go live to the red carpet as country's biggest stars file into Nashville's Grand Ole Opry House for the CMA Awards. Telecast from 7-8 p.m. ET, CMT's Red Carpet Preview: Live From the CMA Awards will be hosted by comedian Bill Engvall, Neal McCoy and TV personality Katie Haas. CMT's hosts will take you right up to the telecast of The 34th Annual CMA Awards on CBS, with red carpet interviews with the night's nominees as they arrive in style for the big night.
