Slide guitar master Sonny Landreth will release Levee Town, the third album in a trilogy of meditations on the Deep
South, on Oct. 17. Landreth released Outward Bound to critical acclaim in 1992, followed by South of I-10 in
1995. Levee Town's title track, about the flooding of the Atchafalaya Basin in Lousiana, features guest vocals by his
former boss, John Hiatt. Other guests on the album include Bonnie Raitt, Jennifer Warnes, Stephen Bruton and Herb Pedersen.
