Expect a brand new album from country diva Patty Loveless in February, 2000. The project, which is currently untitled, has been in the works for the past few months under the direction of Patty's husband/producer Emory Gordy Jr. Loveless has taken most of 1999 off from touring, with the exception of a few dates booked with Vince Gill in the last 2 months. During this well deserved vacation, Loveless has devoted the time to recording the new album and to her songwriting. She began writing at a very young age and at fourteen she signed on with the Wilburn Brothers for a writing/singing stint, actually stepping into the role that Loretta Lynn played with the group. Early on in her recording career, Loveless cut some of her own material like "I Did," and "Sounds of Loneliness" off of 1987's Patty Loveless and "Go On" on 1988's Honky Tonk Angel.
