Alan Jackson will join Willie Nelson and friends for Farm Aid 2000, set for Sept. 17 at the Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, Va.
Up for four trophies at this year's Country Music Association Awards, Jackson is the latest addition to a lineup that includes
Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Sawyer Brown and Travis Tritt. Carolyn Mugar, Farm Aid executive director, says more additions
could be coming. "The best part for ticket buyers is that Farm Aid is always full of surprises," Mugar said. "Like past years,
we won't know until the last minute who else will show up and what stars will end up playing together." CMT will broadcast
the show live from 2-10 p.m. ET.
