Rarely does a CMT video request involve the police. However, Loretta Lynn worried police on Wednesday (Aug. 30) when she attempted to call the network's request line to ask for her new video, "Country in My Genes." Lynn apparently got confused about the 900 Request Line number and instead dialed 911. When the emergency operator answered her call, Lynn merely said, "I vote for 'Country in My Genes'" and hung up. Fearing Lynn might be in trouble, the operator dispatched the police to her home to make sure things were okay. Startled by the loud pounding on her door some minutes later, Lynn called her manager and said, "Call the police, there's somebody pounding on my door!" Of course, the noisemakers were the police, there to rescue Lynn from her 911 call.
