'N Sync won't be the only pop sensations twanging it up at this year's Country Music Association Awards. Pop star Jewel will team up with Merle Haggard on "That's The Way Loves Goes," a duet that appears on the new double disc collection, Merle Haggard: For The Record. The story goes that Haggard's "Silver Wings" was the first song Jewel ever learned to perform, so she jumped at the opportunity to duet with the country legend. Other stars added to the lineup include Shania Twain, Martina McBride, Steve Wariner and 1999 Horizon nominees Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans, The Wilkinsons and Chely Wright. Artists previously announced to perform include Brooks & Dunn, Dixie Chicks, Vince Gill, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and a special performance by Alabama with 'N Sync. The three-hour gala event will be telecast live on the CBS Television Network Wednesday, September 22 at 8 p.m. ET from the Grand Ole Opry House.
