The Tim McGraw-Faith Hill Soul 2 Soul Tour is pulling in some impressive numbers, according to industry trade publication Pollstar. The first leg, which included 25 concert dates, has grossed more than $18 million from nearly 400,000 fans across the country. The husband-wife team is taking a short break before the second leg of the tour begins Sept. 1. A rep for the tour says more dates may be added in October. The double bill is giving both George Strait and the Dixie Chicks a run in the race to be the year's highest-grossing country tour. Strait's Country Music Festival brought in about $24 million over 10 dates. Figures aren't yet available for the ongoing Fly Tour, but the Chicks have sold out 43 of their 45 shows to date, says the band's management.
