Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, Chet Atkins, Glen Campbell and many more legends were at the Grand Ole
Opry house this week to tape a Country Homecoming TNN special to air in September. The artists swapped stories and
songs for the two-part special, and Campbell shared his secret of how he got started in Los Angeles as a top session musician.
"I was the only one who knew how to use a capo," he joked. "You'd go to Nashville and they all used one. Nobody used them
back then in L.A., and that was the only way to get that ringing sound on the guitar strings when I played on those Sinatra
records."
